StationSmarts, the mobile-based, records management system designed exclusively for fire departments, welcomes Heather Vaughn to our team. Heather will play a key role as Project Manager, working to enhance the support services we offer our user community.
As we’ve traveled throughout New England over the past 18 months meeting with fire chiefs, we’ve heard many express deep frustration with their existing software providers. It’s clear that other brands of records management software have not made a sufficient investment in customer service. In contrast, the StationSmarts team understands and is working hard to meet the unique support requirements of its subscribers within the fire services industry.
Taking input from these fire chiefs to heart, we have initiated a series of company-wide improvements (adding support staff, deploying project management processes and task management/communications tools) to ensure that our users get the customized support they need.
In her role as Project Manager, Heather Vaughn will lead this customer service initiative. She has worked in administrative roles with both Concord and Carlisle Fire Departments and comes to us highly recommended by Concord’s Acting Chief Tom Judge. She brings a deep understanding of data analysis as it pertains to fire operations.
Heather’s duties will include:
- Guiding the startup process for new subscribers
- Upgrading StationSmarts software versions
- Offering first tier customer support
- Managing internal projects
- Developing support documentation
By providing this exceptional level of service, our team is working to ensure StationSmarts customers benefit from our effective records management system from day one.
